Biz Net Café & Shop

Situated just past the end of Tan Son Nhat Airport’s runways is a trendy coffee shop known as “Biz Net.” They have several floors (including a rooftop if you’re fond of watching airliners take off), and ample space both indoors and out. A small outdoor stage plays host to acoustic performances on occasion, and a large number of potted trees help break up the building’s drab concrete walls. Seating inside comes in the form of a dozen different chair styles, including some metal frame rocking chairs. They had some talented artists create the confusing mix of murals throughout the shop. It’s definitely the type of place that sees itself as trendy.
The drinks menu is not large, but offers the usual teas, yogurts, and smoothies. Oddly, they do not have traditional phin coffee, offering instead something just called “Biz Net Coffee.” It turns out that it’s basically just a small espresso-based cup, and not as tasty as a real Vietnamese brew. It will cost you 27,000đ with no milk, or 30,000đ with. I tried to enjoy it, but the greatness of local phin coffee has ruined me forever.
Verdict: Biz Net seems like the type of place to come for a little musical entertainment in the evening, but not really for a laptop-warrior in search of great coffee.
